Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority

Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority (KCSWA) was created by the State of West Virginia in 1989 to deal with waste reduction in the county.

The Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority is the central resource for waste reduction in the county with a focus on the education and awareness of sustainable techniques and initiatives.

Auge+Gray+Drake worked with KCSWA to develop an engaging and exciting brand personality that would encourage and inspire more county residents to reduce, reuse and recycle.

The colorful and symbolic imagery for from the logo design provided a foundation for the entire brand personality, which carried through to collateral materials and the organizational website. AGD+ both developed the branding and executed its successful community launch and continues to partner with KCSWA on an as-needed basis for branded materials.
